SPM Hire keeps one of the most complete wedding fleets in London and Essex — seven Rolls-Royce models, a Bentley Flying Spur, a vintage Silver Cloud and an open-top Beauford Tourer among them. Every car is fully insured, meticulously valeted the day before, and driven by a uniformed chauffeur who understands weddings run to their own timetable.

Choosing the right wedding car
White Rolls-Royce Phantoms remain the classic bridal choice: rear-hinged coach doors and a broad rear bench make stepping out in a full gown effortless and graceful. Couples wanting something more understated often prefer the Ghost, while a Bentley Flying Spur strikes the balance between grand and warm. For traditional and vintage themes the 1960s Silver Cloud is unmatched, and the open-top Beauford is perfect for confetti photographs and a roof-down departure as newlyweds.

Room for your dress
It is the detail most often overlooked. A structured or voluminous gown needs wide-opening doors and genuine space, which is exactly why our Phantom Extended Wheelbase is so popular — every extra inch of that wheelbase is rear legroom. Tell us about your dress when you enquire and we will recommend accordingly.

Multiple cars and guest transport
Many couples book two or three vehicles: one for the bride, one for the bridal party, and something larger for close family. Our Mercedes V-Class Road Lounge and 22-seat Executive Minibus move guests between ceremony and reception comfortably, so nobody is left arranging lifts.

How far in advance should we book our wedding car?
Peak Saturdays between May and September are often reserved nine to twelve months ahead, particularly for the white Phantoms. That said, we keep a large fleet and can frequently help at shorter notice — it is always worth asking.
Can we see the car before booking?
Yes. Our Ilford showroom is open by appointment so you can view any vehicle in person. Very few hire companies offer this.
Do you provide ribbons in our colours?
Yes, at no extra cost. Tell us your colour scheme and we will dress the car to match.
How long is the car with us?
Standard wedding hire covers the journey to the ceremony, waiting during the service, and transfer to your reception. We can extend for photographs at a second location or an evening departure — just tell us your plan.
Which areas do you cover?
All of London, Essex and Hertfordshire, plus Kent and Surrey. We regularly serve Ilford, Chigwell, Woodford, Romford, Loughton and central London venues.
